Nathan Smith works as a user experience developer at Fellowship Tech. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Seminary.

He began building sites late last century, crafting HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. He also dabbles in design and information architecture.

He created the 960 Grid System, a framework for sketching, designing, and coding page layouts. More recently, he developed a standard approach to form elements, dubbed Formalize CSS.

He also coauthored the jQuery Cookbook and was a technical editor of jQuery Enlightenment. Before discovering the beauty that is Drupal, he even cowrote a book about the Textpattern CMS.

He is an organizational member of the Drupal Association.
